All About Sapphire Engagement Rings?

Sapphire engagement rings feature beautiful stones of stunning color, making them a popular choice for engagement rings because of their uniqueness. Sapphires are precious gemstones in the corundum mineral family, making them durable and long-lasting.
Our lab-grown sapphire engagement rings are offered in different styles and timeless designs. They range from simple solitaires to antique-inspired designs and modern silhouettes. Chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural sapphires, our sapphire engagement rings are an attractive and affordable option for those seeking a unique alternative.

Are Sapphire Engagement Rings Expensive?

Although sapphires are rarer than diamonds, they tend to be less expensive, especially when lab-grown. Lab-created sapphires are a budget-friendly alternative for a unique engagement ring center stone that is both beautiful and durable. Available in various sizes and colors, lab-created sapphires are an ethical and sustainable choice when shopping for an engagement ring.

What do Sapphire Engagement Rings Symbolize?

Sapphires have lots of meaning and tons of symbolism. Historically royals believed they brought protection and symbolized power, strength, and wise judgment. A sapphire engagement ring is believed to represent virtue, faithfulness, and sincerity for marriages, making them a meaningful choice for an engagement ring.

History of Sapphire Engagement Rings

There is a long history of sapphires dating back to ancient times. Roman and Persian nobility prized them, Greeks wore them for guidance, Buddhists believed they brought spiritual enlightenment, and Hindus used them during worship.

In recent times, Duchess Kate Middleton's sapphire engagement ring is a very popular style with much history. The design was inspired by the sapphire accent Queen Victoria wore on her wedding dress in 1840, but the center blue sapphire also belonged to the late Princess Diana.

Are Sapphire Engagement Rings Durable?

Sapphire engagement rings are a good choice for people with active lifestyles, as they are resistant to scratching and chipping. A hard gemstone scoring a nine on the Mohs hardness scale, second to a diamond, it’s an excellent choice for an engagement ring.

What Sizes Do Sapphire Engagement Rings Come Available?

Whether you are shopping for a blue or peach sapphire engagement ring, our collection offers a wide variety of stone shapes in oval, radiant, emerald, pear, and round cuts from 1.5 ct - 3.75 ct.

In What Colors Are Sapphire Engagement Rings Available?

Although most popularly known for their deep blue color, sapphires come in various shades, including pink, yellow, and green. Our collection features blue and peach sapphire engagement rings.

What Is the Average Price of a Sapphire Engagement Ring?

Our sapphire engagement rings range in cost from $2,100 - $4,400. The price for a sapphire engagement ring will depend on the design, sapphire carat weight, and stone shape.
